I've been wanting to blog about this for a while.

Excellent post. Let me say this about that - it's related, but not related. On Friday, I looked up Solid State hard drives - these are IDE or SATA drives that are 100% memory. The ones I looked at are 60gig. A 60 gig drive that plugs into your current IDE port on your computer - BUT it's 100% memory - no platters, etc. Speed? Blazing fast. Cost? $15,000. Someone might GASP at that, BUT - In the early 80's in TRS-80 Magazine, a 1 GIG hard drive was close to $5,000. Today, a 500 gig hard drive is around $150. What does it all mean? It means when my seven year old son grows up, he's going to have one heck of a PC...
Or when he grows up, he will be the PC? It's like the tables have already been turned and now we're the processing power. We've become search engines and spiders, crawling, tagging and arranging. Yike.

Don't you feel sometimes too connected? too wired? How is it that social networking spreads like wildfire? myspace/facebook/nextbigthing3.0 just takes over. If the average myspace page is visited 30 times a day, what the hell are people doing? Content is like crack. Got to get our fix. Everyone getting sucked in.

You have successfully boggled my mind. Now I'll go out and water the flowers.

I surrender. It can take me now.

You have taken the time to read this and for this brief moment you have given me control over your mind. Thank you. You may resume your life now...

[Insert Ominous Cackling Here]

It is indeed a rabbit hole. But I'm more than happy to see how deep it is.
